Getting back to writing after ages felt like stepping into a new chapter, and that’s exactly why my page is called ‘Going through changes’. It’s been a minute, but honestly, when life’s throwing you curveballs, you end up experiencing a whole bunch. You bump into surprises, face parts of yourself that need TLC, time flies, and suddenly, you’re getting a crash course in the people around you—sometimes realizing who’s worth keeping or letting go. It’s the rollercoaster of changes—dealing with losses, navigating through the chaotic world events, feeling fed up with the status quo, and deciding to hit the reset button. But hey, amidst all that, the crucial thing is to keep on growing, not to get stuck in one place.
Let’s zoom in on a major chunk of my long hiatus from posting. Self-reflection mode activated! Turns out, diving into the depths of my personality and my whole being uncovered a treasure trove of areas needing a serious upgrade. Being human is one chaotic ride, right? We’re all susceptible to veering off course, swayed by the winds of instability, my friends. So, my birthday? Just sailed past on Nov 2nd, and you bet I spent time pondering how I fared in my journey to 29. I smashed goals, tweaked bits of my life, and saw some situations take a turn for the better. The mindset I’m crafting as I age? A work in progress, but boy, it’s paying dividends. Getting to 29 wasn’t a fluke—big shoutout to the Most High! And hey, can’t forget, he has been the guiding light through it all. Focus? Healing. It’s been the top priority, helping me swap out those pesky bad habits for righteous ones. But you know what? It’s a slow burn; rushing it means missing out on the crucial lessons meant to be learned along the way.
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: But fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Proverbs‬ â€1‬:â€7‬ â€KJV‬‬
“For the LORD giveth wisdom: Out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.” â€â€Proverbs‬ â€2‬:â€6‬ â€KJV‬‬
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: And the knowledge of the holy is understanding.” Proverbs‬ â€9‬:â€10‬ â€KJV‬‬
“And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter‬ â€1‬:â€5‬-â€8‬ â€KJV‬‬
“Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, And find the knowledge of God. For the LORD giveth wisdom: Out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: He is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.” Proverbs‬ â€2‬:â€5‬-â€7‬ â€KJV‬‬
You know, I wasn’t exactly best buds with change. Actually, I used to hate it. Made me feel like I wasn’t being accepted for who I am, brought this whole uncomfortable vibe along with it. It’s relatable, right? But let me tell you, the worst part of that phase was the darkness it dragged me into. Pain, depression, stress—yeah, they camped out in my mind and slowly chipped away at me. And trust me, it’s a pretty lonely spot. But here’s the kicker: that part? It wasn’t moving an inch. It was stuck, ruled by our adversary, the devil. And honestly, there’s zero life in that darkness. But hey, over time, that chapter got a serious revamp! I have been making sure to remember to tap into the strength and wisdom given by Christ. And now? Change is a thing of beauty to me. It’s fulfilling, but here’s the catch—only when you’re following Christ’s lead. ‘Cause let’s face it, he’s got the keys to everything! On my own, I was kinda stuck. But diving into that wisdom, putting it into action, has really pushed me to aim higher. Seeing my life turn around? It’s been a soul-lifting journey, realizing how knowledge, when put into play, can genuinely steer me toward being a better me.
Growing up isn’t just a phase—it’s a necessity. Staying stagnant never appealed to me; it only hindered the path toward becoming a better me. During this hiatus, something clicked—I’ve undergone a complete vibe shift. Last time we talked, I was all about stepping out of my comfort zone, and let me tell you, it’s been an enlightening journey. Picture this: finally finding that perfect dress size after numerous changes, settling into a fit that feels just right without constant alterations. What I’ve come to understand isn’t merely a specific direction, but a deeper revelation of what Jesus wants for my life—a divine understanding, thanks to the wisdom shared by those exceptional souls who’ve brightened my journey. While navigating these transformations, I’ve found immense value in the process. It’s about embracing growth and the freedom that comes from humbling ourselves before our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Missed sharing these reflections with you! Sending blessings your way, and until our next exchange.
